The short version
What Elusion keeps, and why
Elusion RPG is free and made by one person. It keeps what it needs to run your account and keep the game fair, nothing is sold, and there are no ads or outside trackers. Updated 31 October 2026.
Your account
What you give us
- Your name in the game - the one other players see.
- Your password, if you make one - kept only as a scrambled hash that nobody, us included, can turn back into the password.
- A recovery email, if you add one - used only to send you codes: to get back into your account, and for staff, to sign in.
Signing in with Google
What Google tells us
- When you sign in with Google, Google tells us an ID for your Google account and your email address, which Google has checked is yours. We keep both: the ID to know it is you next time, and the email as your recovery address.
- We never see your Google password. We do not keep your Google name or picture - in the game you go by the name you pick.
- If that email is already the confirmed recovery address of an Elusion account, the game offers you that account to sign into - the same reach "Forgot password" already gives whoever reads that inbox.
- One Google account opens one Elusion account.
While you play
What the game records
- Your characters: their levels, skills, gold, items and progress.
- Chat: messages are kept for a day; a message someone reports is kept with the report for the moderators.
- Where you sign in from: the internet addresses and the copy of the game you use, so a banned player cannot simply make a new account, and so a stolen login can be spotted.
- Sign-in attempts, so password guessing can be stopped.
- Fights and where your character stands, so the server can check that kills and loot are fair. Positions are kept for two weeks.
- Party voice chat travels through a relay between the players in your party. It is never recorded.
- This website counts visits, with no outside trackers and no ad cookies.
Who sees it
You, and the people who keep the game running
You see your own account. Moderators see what they need to keep the game fair and friendly - reports, chat, and the history of your account's sign-ins and actions. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
Deleting it
Your account is yours to delete
In the game, open Options, then Account, then Delete account. Your characters, items, chat, sign-in records and Google link are deleted. A few records that are also other players' stay with your name taken out: trades you made with them, and the game's gold ledgers. If you made your account with Google, use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen first: a code goes to your Google email and lets you set the password the delete asks for.
